The band are currently looking to recruit some new players. If you are currently thinking about starting a new hobby, looking for a band to join or want to start playing again after a break... why not come along one Wednesday evening and see what we are all about? We have a number of positions still available and welcome anyone who fancies coming along.

Dark side of the moon

The band are practicing dark side of the moon written by Paul Lovatt Cooper with the view to playing it at a contest in the near future & at any big concerts in the area. It is a brilliant piece of music and all the players are loving it.

Whit Friday 2011

This year was the best set of results since the band first entered this event 10 years ago, every year we move up the ladder now achieving 23rd position out of 50 or so bands, the highest placing was 16th not bad for a 4th section band. The armosphere on the coach was brilliant , we had Chris on the Guitar & Sue singing a couple of songs & everyone Joined in with the Arnfield song composed by Chris, we cant wait for next year.

New Uniforms

The band are currently looking at getting a new uniform, this will have to be done by fund raising events & hopefully a few donations. The cost of this will be in the region of £5000 so anyone who is willing to support the band to achieve this would be much apreciated. The present uniform was bought second hand in 2001 & a lot of them are not in good condition & any new member that joins we are struggeling to provide them with a jacket. This is a very exciting venture for the band because we want to look as good as we sound !
